Surprise, surprise

Recently, it hit me. That people, may not seem to be who they say they are or even act the way they are. It may seem that you may know the person since forever but once communication breaks down, you start to see their true colours... And sometimes, it may not be as pretty as a rainbow, or butterflies, or even sparkles. You really don't know anyone 100% because they're only showing you what they want you to see. Am I wrong to say that?

Time after time, I hang out with different groups of friends and somehow, due to some conflict or mishaps, I end up losing that group of friends just because of that tiny conflict. Isn't it sad? To lose so many whom you just got close to? Yet, I don't even know if any of them feels affected the way I do.

I guess what I've concluded after like so many heartbreaks and millions of wake up calls, that people come and go as and when they like. It doesn't matter if it affects you as long as they've done their part in your life, they leave. What I am thankful for are my school girls, you know who you are ;), the Clique, Voskaj, Clara, Matthew, Aurelia, Alex and you, who's aaaaaaalways been there for me no matter what. During my downfalls & my down fall (literally when I actually fell off at a chalet HAHA sigh I still don't know why it still cracks me up till now) they have been there, not with me physically but virtually through whatsapps and texts and phone calls and I guess, I never really made the proper effort to thank them enough. No amount of thank yous, presents, kisses, hugs could make up for their love and care for me. I really don't know what I did in my past life to deserve these lovely people and I am so glad for each and every one of them from the bottom of my tiny heart <3

I promise that I will make more effort in showing my appreciation to them and definitely make more time for them.

Anyway, I am not trying to point fingers at anyone but if you're feeling guilty.... Well, hmm what does it say about you? I really have seen the true colours of some people and I am quite disappointed somehow, to think that we once shared so much and now, it's almost close to nothing. Well, I am now 110% aware of who my true friends are and I would not in a billion million trillion years trade the world for them.

This is lengthy and not me but just felt the need to blab about it.......... So yes. Have a great week ahead everyone else and please, be true to your friends and treasure those around you...... :)

So glad that we both finally took the time to meet each other and we spent a whooping 3.5 hours yakking non-stop about our lives!!! Love how we can still end up the same talking/gossiping/catching up even though we don't see each other much/text much anymore. I still love you the same bb and I'm so glad to have someone like you in my life :') Ever grateful to have met you 4 years ago. 

What we had during our meet up! Went to Tiong Bahru's Bakery @ Raffles City & I must say, the Magic Coffee was pretty magical & the Chocolate Croissant was just yummerzzzz. The burger was not as fantastic though :( & I forgot the name of it... Just don't order it when you're there!!!11

In lieu of Deepavali, my friends thought it'd be a great idea to dine at an Indian restaurant & we went to Chat Masala @ Siglap! The food there never fails me & I can't believe I've never tried their butter naan?! It's so good, you guys should check it out if you're around the East & thinking of having an Indian cuisine!!! The portion's pretty big though! It feeds for 2 :)

Trisha had a retro themed party (only so she could play her songs which were like in '80s-'90s ok?!) LOL, so we had to dress up if not she'll kick us out of the party........... It was definitely a hell lot of fun dancing & grooving to "Hey Mickey", "It's my life", Michael Jackson and the list goes on......... I'm so glad how things went that night and I'm glad everything is fine now.... :)

Okay, I realized the only pictures I took are only of food... I'M SORRY. I was too engrossed in my shopping I guess? Hehe. I must say, I was TERRIBLY disappointed with Chatuchak............ I went there last year and did major shopping there but this year, I was literally digging into every shop to find things to buy!!1111 Sigh. So. So. So. Disappointing. Well, at least Platinum didn't fail me. Literally spent everything there hehe & we went there like 3 days straight? Also to add on, IT WAS JUST LIKE 7 MINS AWAY FROM MY HOTEL HEHEHEHE. My hotel sucked though, it's Baiyoke Suite Hotel. Would rather book Baiyoke Sky Hotel! But it was a fun trip.... Without parents :)

Out of all these, I'd just recommend Platinum & Terminal 21! These 2 won't fail you guys fo' sho! I would definitely wanna go back again, probably next year ^-*
